Her powers went out of control too. She did... something; I'm not sure what, but I felt like the Force itself was being drained out of me.

[ He paused a moment, his voice softening. ]

I don't doubt she's scared. It happened so suddenly; she very clearly didn't intend for it to happen.

Scared is putting it mildly. In fact, she seems worried that she might end up like your father.

[Which was certainly very concerning. There was a darkness that seemed to linger around her, but he wouldn't say she was on the same level as Anakin.]

Did she hurt you at all?

Considering what our father becomes, that’s highly unlikely.

[ But he knew actually telling Leia that wouldn’t ease her fears. She needed to see for herself that she had the power in her to follow a path that remained true to her ideals no matter what powers she had. ]

Only a little. A few days rest and a medical wrap, and I was fine.

Telling me that, and telling her, are two different things.

And I wouldn’t say she’s dangerous. She just needs to learn control. I tried to help her with that, but...

[ He trailed off, letting out a sigh. ]

I want to be there for her, to help her, but there’s still so much I need to learn myself.

It's a lack of control that makes one dangerous. But yes, I agree. I've been trying to teach her how to do so through meditation. It's calmed her down at the very least.

[There's a hidden smile on Obi-Wan's side, but it shows through his voice as well.]

Even the wisest of Jedi Masters always have something to learn, Luke. I hope you know that you can come to me any time if you are in need of guidance.
