[ That he doesn't feel like he's any good at, because it hits too close to home. That he hates because the clients he gets are so petty with some of their problems. But it was a job that pulled in money on a regular basis... when he decided to work it... ]
[ She'd woken with a start, the edge of her pillow wet with sweat, the sheets tangled around her hips and legs. It was a surprise she hadn't woken Han throughout her troubled sleep. Instead of waking him, she reached to the nightstand for her communicator, freeing herself and leaving the bedroom.
It took her a moment to try and reach out for everyone. For Padme, for Anakin, for Kylo, for Luke. Emptiness reached back to her for the first two. This couldn't be good.
Her fingers shook as she fumbled through the directory, confirming the worst, and then Leia located her brother. ]
[ He was awoken when the first sensation hit. It was an empty feeling he was very familiar with by now, and he knew exactly who it was from. It hurt, his heart ached, and he hadn't even come close to recovering when he felt the second feeling hit... ]
[ Luke was curled up on his bed, his face buried in his knees, when he heard his text tone go off. He barely had half a mind to fumble for the phone, knowing it was Leia without looking. ]
shortly after he and Finn are dismissed for Poe and Leia to talk, Bodhi takes out his device. even though Leia had said not to call him, he's worried (and maybe the way she had reacted when he'd brought up her brother, and her admitting she'd used the force... Which... ) ]
Luke. We're with Leia. Well, Poe is right now. We're -- [ a deep breath and he's muttering something about 'not keeping his phone on' ]
Can you please call me when you get this? Something happened. I don't know, you'd probably know better than I would.
[ Yet Another Thing to add to the list of terrible that has come from this last incident, and this was one that they essentially encouraged. Luke let out a heavy sigh, feeling like he had the weight of a bantha balanced precariously on his shoulders, before replying. ]
I'm sorry, Lucina. Please let me know if I can help in any way.
[ Nevermind he wasn't very sure he could do much at the moment. ]
[ Well this was a... surprise, to put it mildly. Of all the people Luke thought would ever contact him, Akobi was very low on that list. Which meant, of course, this had to be serious, and he was taking it seriously. ]
[ After what happened, Bodhi finds he doesn't like being on his own. The racing thoughts and fear that he'll slip -- even if what had happened wouldn't again... It's too much. Luke seems to know and understand this, even without Bodhi saying it and spends as much time with him as he can.
And he's grateful.
Sleep hasn't been a friend of late, but he's catching a few stolen minutes of it, curled up on the sofa of his unit in Base One.
Something had woken him up, though. He blinks, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, stretches - his hand smacking right into the individual pressed close to him.
[ Luke had been happy to be cuddled up against his boyfriend (he still loved just thinking that), content with projecting calm to help him sleep, and well... also cuddle him. Because cuddling Bodhi was always enjoyable. What he didn't count on was the sudden swat to the face upon waking up. ]
[ Luke let out a squeak, blinking at Bodhi, before a faint, sleepy lopsided grin came to his face. ]
Mm... I think you swatting my butt was better.
[ Look, just because he was helping him recover from the bad part of what happened, didn't mean he wouldn't tease him about the silly part of what happened. ]
[attached: a photo of an alleyway in Heropa, wherein some very...precious street art has been done of the Aegis team.
"precious" as in...well. Goro has a dorito-chin, Darin looks like a DBZ fan charcter, Lucina's eyes seem to be trying to leave her face, Jacob is just tragic, and Luke...er...Alphonse??
..it's unclear if the light-haired potato-face is supposed to be Al or Luke.]
Skywalker. I would hope it has not escaped your notice, but you have a niece here.
Furthermore, she knows Isard. Or at least knows of her. If I am not mistaken, that makes her the only one from our galaxy who actually arrived with that knowledge.
Do with that information what you will, but I can't be the only one who hears klaxons blaring every time that woman tries to ingratiate herself to everyone here, especially the locals. Believe me when I say I've worked with enough spies, sycophants, and scheming officers to know an act when I see one.
Oh, and regardless of whether she exists in your own time, it might be prudent to have a talk about the wisdom of a young padawan wandering alone through the territory of a Dark Lord of the Sith. Or the lack thereof.
So long as she is here, she is under my protection, but that arrangement ends the moment she leaves the premises. And for reasons that should be just as obvious for the both of us, I cannot guarantee any future Sith Lords will be as accommodating.
